Nintendo Wii vs. Microsofts Xbox 360 vs. Sony PS3

I was immensely dissappointed with the Game Cube. But this time, Nintendo Wii is the one that will be getting my money. I might change my mind, though.

Xbox 360. Xbobx has a superb graphics but with a hafl-baked Wii-like controls. It doesn’t have a lot of good games — okay, Halo is a good one. *personally speaking*

PS3. Who among you would want to pay more-or-less 50k php for a PS3. Yes, it has a lot of pretty good games but since they are Blu Rays, it’ll be way much expensive. Yes, PS3 is complete with better graphics, blue tooth controllers, cd/dvd player, and a whole new other options like, Wi-Fi connectivity, HDMI connection, etc. Still, PS3 is too expensive for most costumers to justify the spending of their hard-earned money.

Nintendo. Wii will bring back the old school games like Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario Brothers: Galaxy! Hopefully the prices will be cheap. HAHA Nintendo is determined to keep the prices of the console and its new games lower than competitors. This, and the remote-control style controller serve as the Wii’s two major selling points.

Update: As of 11/28/06, the BBC reports that Wii has sold more than 600,000 units in the US and Canada, compared to 400,000 for PS3. Nintendo plans to ship a total of 4 million units to North America by the end of the year, while Sony has set a target of 1 million PS3s.
